What is Community Supported Agriculture?
Your membership to our farm’s weekly Harvest!
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a way to deepen your connection to healthy food, a healthy environment, and a healthier local food system just by purchasing produce directly from your local farmer. When you join our CSA, you pay an equal value of $20 per week for a full share in the beginning of each season. Each week, for 10 weeks in the spring or 15 weeks in the fall, you collect your choice of $20 worth of seasonal vegetables at one of our market locations - usually totaling around 6-8 items. By purchasing upfront, before the growing season begins, you help to assure that we get a strong, early start to the season and guarantee that your share of fresh, nutritious, naturally grown produce is picked just for you every week.
Whether you love fresh veggies or you’re a family of four looking to add some fresh produce to your weekly meals, our shares are for you! For each share, you can expect to choose a variety of fresh produce as the seasons progress. In the spring you'll find lots of succulent leafy greens, root veg like carrots, radishes, turnips, and beets along with spinach and kale. In the last few weeks, you’ll even get some of the first tastes of summer with veggies like squash and tomatoes. Then the fall harvest brings us the best of warm and cool season vegetables - everything from delicious cherry tomatoes and sweet peppers to refreshing cucumbers to kales, collards, and carrots. We can't wait to see you at the market!
